When you look into the mirror, what do you see? Is it the visible scars from the past or the obvious wrinkles, the baldness and grey hair that now reminds you “your years are far spent and there is nothing much to show for it.”
You recall your mates seems to have it all well and basking for them while you’re still living in penury. Those who got married the same time you did now have kids to show for their home. People are getting married, but you just seem to be a mannequin that no one admire…
It can really be a trying time. Quite challenging and almost impossible to hold on.
It is always scary to hold on and extremely tempting to find a route for yourself that is not in line with God’s promise for your lives at such times.
You get worked up. People ask questions, they look at your present situation and conclude for you. But do you have to give in to their words?
Are they the one who promised you a beautiful ending?~Jeremiah 29:11
Weakness while waiting for the promise you have in God do come. We are human and the flesh do lure us to weakness at times.
One basic truth is that: even in your weakness, you still have the strength to stand strong in your weakness.
If He had said it, He is faithful enough to bring it to light.
He feels your pain and understand your plight, but He is preparing you for something that no eyes has ever seen or will any heart be able to fathom when it comes to light.
In trying times, which will always come; always remember that: the answer to your troubles is just a prayer and a faith away.
Keep your hope anchored to Christ. It will end in praise.
