Being Alone : A Means To Self Realisation

often times people confuse Being alone and Loneliness or see it as the same thing, but these two words differ. Learning to be alone can be uncomfortable but once gotten used to, it serves as a development and growth for humans.
Some people think of being alone as a bad thing. To our society, being alone either means you’re antisocial or unwanted But it means being on own your Pace.

When someone says ‘i love being alone’, our society implies ISOLATION or when that person is not socially engaged.

We as humans often need social interaction with others, but a little bit of “Alone time ” is necessary. When people learn to remove themselves from social context to be alone, they are able to see how to shape their lives.

Being alone allows you to be introspective about yourself, to be able to make better choices and decisions about who you are and the direction you’re taking in life, we are often influenced by the thoughts, feelings, attitudes, beliefs and behavior of our peers, we see ourselves asking others for advice which is good but ultimately, consulting ourselves and being decisive about what you want will lead us into the life that is best for Us.

Being alone helps well when it comes to be decisive about what you need & want in a relationship, some individuals allow there partners to tell them what to feel, what to do and not to do, if you’re afraid of being alone and function on your own, you will be at a Greater risk to be selling yourself out ” until you get comfortable with being alone, you’ll never know if you’re choosing someone out of love or loneliness ”

Can you remember the last time you were alone with your thoughts, without music, social media, friends to distract you? Or does the thought of being stuck alone with your thoughts scare you?

Trying to be alone isn’t something New, although it has become difficult in our world today and is perceived as bad or negative.

Being Alone helps you to

* Reflect more on your self and reflect on your life

* am i a better person today, than i was yesterday n

* are my actions guided by love or fear?

* am i a good example for those around me?

* am i living the life I want to be living n

*do the people i surround myself add any value to my life?

* am i following the crowd or am i listening to ny heart and intuition?

*what is the one thing i could start doing today to improve the quality of my life?

*when was the last time I learned something new?

* am i a source of inspiration to friends and family?

* do i enjoy my own company?
